Ask a Chimney Sweep – Virtual Consultation
Code-Informed Guidance for Wood Stoves & Fireplaces — Anywhere in the U.S.
As a licensed California contractor with over 20 years of hands-on experience, I now offer a virtual consultation service for masonry fireplaces, wood stoves, and solid-fuel heating systems — available to homeowners across the entire United States.
This service grew directly out of what my customers have asked for over the last two decades. Many people don’t necessarily need a full onsite inspection right away — they simply want to ask questions and get clear answers from a professional in the field.
All consultations are grounded in the safety, installation, and inspection guidelines of NFPA 211, a nationally recognized standard for chimneys, fireplaces, vents, and solid-fuel systems.
