These videos demonstrate the use of our professional rotary power sweeping tools commonly used in chimney maintenance, manufactured by A.W. Perkins. In these two examples the sweeping was performed from the appliance, inside the house, upward through the flue interior. This footage shows the system as seen from the top of the chimney for visual clarity. As outlined in NFPA 211, chimneys serving solid-fuel appliances require regular inspection and maintenance to support proper draft and system performance. Rotary sweeping tools are designed to mechanically dislodge flue deposits from the interior liner so they can be properly collected and removed. Each chimney system is unique, and service methods may vary based on construction, access, and observed conditions. |
