Insurance Inspection Services
Insurance carriers and adjusters rely on accurate chimney documentation following loss events. We provide:
- Level I, II, or III Inspections (per NFPA 211) – Inspection level determined by the type of event, access, and insurance requirements.
- Camera Inspections & Written Reports – Photographic documentation, condition summaries, and repair recommendations.
- Full-Service Repair & Restoration – Restoration of damaged components, masonry repair, and code-compliant system corrections.
Post-Fire Chimney Inspection
A chimney fire can damage internal components even when there is no obvious exterior evidence. After any suspected or confirmed chimney fire, a detailed inspection is strongly recommended before using the system again.
NFPA 211 states that where a chimney fire or other sudden occurrence that might have caused damage has occurred, a Level II inspection should be performed to verify the integrity and safety of the system.
Our post-fire evaluations typically include:
- Full Level II inspection
- Camera scan of internal flue surfaces
- Structural and safety assessment
- Written documentation for insurance and repair planning

Annual Inspection Recommendation (NFPA 211)
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 211) recommends that:
“Chimneys, fireplaces, and vents shall be inspected at least once a year for soundness, freedom from deposits, and correct clearances.”
Annual inspections help prevent hazards, identify early damage, and ensure safe system performance throughout the heating season.
